Smiley Creek Culvert/Road Washout

We receive a message from the Kirk Flannigan, USFS, about Smiley Creek Road being closed since it is washed out near Mill Gulch. The Kirk states, “This is no surprise but it is problematic for the community and visitors. We will likely fix it later this summer/fall when the water goes down. However, we plan to reroute the road and install a bridge in the future. I think that could happen in 2026 after we complete an analysis. “
